POEM
A True Yorkshire Rose
How can I find the words to compose
That would describe my true Yorkshire Rose
There are so many,
Its hard I admit
But here are a few,
she was full of Yorkshire Grit
Strong and determined,
stronger than I
She encouraged others,
always to try
All that she gave,
was never less than her all
A white blooms in God’s garden,
brightly and tall.

GOD SAW YOU
God saw you were tired. When a cure was not to be
So he wrapped his arm around you. And whispered come to me
You didn't deserve what you went through. So he gave you a rest
God’s garden must be beautiful. He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping. So peaceful and free of pain
I could not wish you back. To suffer that again.
